                                                                                                                                                                              Jennifer A. Davis is a production designer and architect working across film, television, live events, art installations, interiors and architecture. She is a dual citizen of the USA and Australia - a local in both countries.

Jennifer is from Melbourne, Australia. She relocated to Los Angeles as the recipient of The Ackerman scholarship and as a reserve Fulbright scholar to further her studies in Architecture.  Prior to this she had completed a Bachelor of Architecture with an added major in art history graduating with first class honors from the University of Melbourne.  She completed a Masters in Architectural Theory and Design while in Los Angeles graduating from the School of Architecture and Urban planning at U.C.L.A. She is widely travelled and remains somewhat nomadic due to career, lifestyle, family and curiosity.

After completing her graduate degree she was recruited to work for RSA Films. She worked exclusively with both the Scott brothers, Tony and Ridley, on film projects - The Fan, Crisis in the Hot Zone, White Squall and Enemy of the State - as an assistant art director and then art director - both on and off set - and on many of their short form projects in different capacities while establishing herself in the world of film. Her first production design job was on a Tony Scott commercial.  Since then she has worked with an extraordinary range of esteemed directors all over the world on commercials and music videos. Her success in the commercial world is extensive working on many popular national and international campaigns.

She also production designs in other creative platforms including theatrical projects, immersive art experieces and live events such as “The Casspir Project” and “Stories” for Art at the Rendon in downtown Los Angeles.

Her Australian film experience comes from commercial work as a Production Designer in different locations including a campaign for Adobe Premiere with Garth Davis at Exit Films. In long form she production designed the feature length film, “I Love You Too” for Princess Pictures, “My Eyes”(working title) for Wisegoat Productions filmed in both Australia and Mexico and is currently production designing the Australian/Indian co-production “My Melbourne”.  Recently she has worked as an Art Director on the feature length films “Better Man” and “Blacklight” as well as the TV series for NBC/Universal “La Brea”. 

Jennifer is a member of the Art Directors Union in the USA and she remains a registered Architect in Australia. Though she engages in a wide range of creative projects most of her professional life is spent designing sets on sound stages and bringing locations to life internationally. She has created fantasy, science fiction and period pieces, high end modern and real life contemporary works. Her commitment to detail and aesthetics are flawless. Her skill set in design, constuction, budgets, schedules, SFX and VFX is extensive all managed from a comprehensive and throrough use of different digital mediums and softwares. She moves seamlessly between disciplines with energy and enthusiasm no matter how large or small the project providing a superb result, on time, on budget and all the while creating and supporting a rich and rewarding work environment for all.
